WHAT'S NEW
On May 1 a special local market opened its gate to the visitors in the Miocene Park.
The European Geoparks Week, taking place at late May early June each year, is a European – wide festival of Geoparks. The Bükk National Park Directorate endorsed this event.
Bird and Tree Day will be celebrated on May 7-8 at the Miocene Park.

Magical statues from organic matter
Ottó Csengődi the self-taught talented palóc artist is a nature lover. He is able to create special nature art from decayed wood, roots and tinder fungus.
He can bring to the surface the hidden content, an animist meaning of natural objects. Although his exhibition in the Visitor Centre came to end, but in our photo album his nature-art can be marvelled retrospectively, it is worth to click on.
